Writing a a campground review you are sharing your thoughts and experiences with others. Your RV park reviews should be interesting but informational and whenever possible remember the following tips:
- Dates you Visited – State the year and month of your trip.
- Rate Paid – Average this to include weekends.
- Any Discounts Accepted – If you used any or noticed any discount clubs, coupons or certain days or time of the year when the cost is cheaper be sure to include this in your RV park evaluation.
- Friendliness of all Associated with the Establishment – Include any communications with managers, owners and employees that were positive or negative.
- Facilities – Was there a pool, game room, beach?
- Tidiness of Property – Was everything well maintained?
- Any Other Important Information – Anything you may have noticed that was interesting to share with others.
Your RV park reviews will assist other vacationers and by following these guidelines you will cultivate a reputation of a reviewer that others can trust for an informative reviews.
- Explain in detail. Details can make a RV park review, don‘t just list essentials. Provide helpful details that’s not slanted. Opinions and likings fluctuate from one person to another, you will need to explain why you feel the way you do about the campground. Tell us why your opinion is what it is, keep it clear, well thought-out, and concise.
- Be thoughtful when describing your stay. Even if it was your least favorite experience, name calling is not helpful in getting your point across. Explain your stay in a way that the readers will comprehend why you feel that way.
- It’s not always easy to be objective. Even a property that feel short can have something on the bright-side, try to acknowledge the pros and negatives. Your individual experience will weigh in on your assessment but try not to allow it to cloud your review.
- Write with your audience in mind. Consider what a another travler would need to understand about this place if they were looking to visit.
- Include yourself in the review. Tell us where you’re coming from. Viewers want to know if you are a seasoned in this area or if this was your first experience.
- Check your spelling and grammar. That includes using periods at the completion of sentences. Never write in ALL CAPS.
- Post your photos. Pictures are a great way to share yoru experience. Properties will only post their top photos but we as visitors can share their downsides if we find any.
- Update your campground review. Even if nothing is different from your first review…the viewer is unaware that you keep returning to the same place time after time unless you write a review for each visit.
